Media plans: from the agency's file to paused campaigns on nine platforms

Give your assistant a media plan file. Get MCP Ads checks it, keeps it for the workspace and prepares every line as paused campaigns in one card.

A media plan is the file an agency or a media team already works from: lines with a platform, dates, a budget, targeting and creatives. You give it to your assistant as it is. The gateway turns it into one proposal card, and after one approval it creates every line at the platforms, paused.

Platforms

Platforms
PlatformWhat a plan line creates
MetaCampaigns, ad sets and ads, including carousels, instant forms and several formats in one ad
TikTokCampaigns, ad groups and ads
Google AdsSearch and Demand Gen campaigns, ad groups, ads and keywords
Microsoft AdvertisingSearch campaigns, ad groups, ads and keywords
PinterestCampaigns, ad groups and Pins
ChatGPT AdsCampaigns, ad groups and ads
SnapchatCampaigns, ad squads and ads
X AdsCampaigns, ad groups and promoted posts
RedditCampaigns, ad groups and ads

One plan can cover several platforms. All of its lines arrive in the same card and are approved together.

From the file to the platforms

  1. Read. You attach the file (Excel, CSV or PDF) or paste a Google Sheets, Google Drive or Dropbox link. The assistant transcribes it, and the server checks every line, recomputes the totals and matches the ad accounts named in the file.
  2. Answer. The card lists only the questions that block a line, such as an account the file does not name. Everything else takes a default you can see and change.
  3. Validate. The card shows the totals per platform, the lines and the names each object will get. You validate the plan.
  4. Prepare. The server writes the campaigns from the plan: names, dates, budgets, targeting, copy and UTM parameters. Each destination URL is read first; a page that does not answer holds its line back.
  5. Approve. One approval in the card for every proposal. Everything is created paused, and goes live only when you ask for activation.
  6. Follow. The same card shows each line's progress while the platforms create it.

What the plan carries

What the plan carries
PartHow it is applied
BudgetsExact, line by line, for the whole flight, per month or per day, on the campaign or the ad set, net media or gross as the file states it.
LocationsCountries, regions, cities with a radius, postal codes and languages, on every platform that targets them.
ExclusionsKept on each line.
CreativesFiles at a Frame.io, Dropbox, Google Drive or Figma link are copied by the server and bound to their line.
NamesThe workspace's naming convention, shown with an example before anything is created.
ConversionsLeads and sales objectives, pixels and conversion events set on the line.

After the first day

  • A new file from the agency becomes a new version of the same plan. The card lists what changed, and the creatives stay bound to their lines.
  • A line the platform refuses is rewritten alone and proposed again. The lines already created are left as they are.
  • The plan stays with the workspace. It is the same in every assistant and for the whole team, so anyone can open it again by name.
