Glossary
Two vocabularies,one place they meet.
Advertising has its words and MCP has its own. The interesting part is where they overlap: what a metric becomes when a model reads it through a tool call, and what makes the number it receives differ from the one the word suggests.

What earns a page here.
A term that is already well defined elsewhere does not need another definition. These entries exist because something about them is reliably misread.
- The trap is named. Not a warning to measure carefully, but the mechanism: which denominator changed, what the API withheld, why the two numbers were never comparable.
- The agent case is separated. Where a term behaves differently because a model is reading it rather than a person, that difference gets its own paragraph.
- Cross-linked both ways. Related terms are written once and the reverse link is derived, so the two directions cannot drift apart.
