# Check PMax asset group coverage quickly

> Tier: recipe. Operating recipe: real tool sequence, core rules, known traps.

Asset group diagnostics read as a checklist: strength, missing types, action items.

**Intent.** Which asset groups lack the assets Google says it wants.

## When to use

- Before feeding PMax more budget.
- After creative refreshes land.

## When not to use

- During learning: young asset groups grade poorly by default.

## Sources

Required: Google Ads

## Preconditions

- The account is ticked in the dashboard, confirmed via list_accounts.

## Inputs

- `window`: Analysis window. Default: last 30 days.

## Procedure

1. Pull asset diagnostics per asset group. — tools: `google_ads_get_pmax_asset_diagnostics`
2. List missing asset types verbatim as the work order. — tools: `google_ads_get_pmax_assets`

## Decision rules

- **When** High-spend asset groups grade below Good → **conclude** Rank the work order by spend, not by grade: a Poor group spending nothing can wait.

## Evidence requirements

- Every figure carries its account, metric and window.
- Anything below a readable sample size is reported as unjudged, not as zero.

## Human approval boundary

- The readout changes nothing. Any change it motivates goes through Safe Writes: preview, human confirmation, then apply.

## Failure modes

- Ad strength is Google's heuristic: a ranking signal, not a verdict on creative quality.

## Output

- **Readout**: The figures, with windows and accounts named.
- **Flags**: What deserves a deeper skill or a human decision.
