# Keep the shared client fiche short and current

> Tier: recipe. Operating recipe: real tool sequence, core rules, known traps.

Review the shared client memory with the person: recheck stale lines, merge duplicates, turn checkable rules into enforced ones, and note the events that explain the period.

**Intent.** A fiche the whole team trusts: true, dated, short enough to travel with every report.

## When to use

- The fiche is flagged stale or full.
- Start of a quarter, a new brief, or a change of targets.
- Before a client review.

## When not to use

- Personal preferences of the person: they belong in their assistant, not in a fiche the team shares.

## Sources

Required: any connected source

## Preconditions

- The account is ticked in the dashboard, confirmed via list_accounts.

## Inputs

- `window`: Analysis window. Default: last 30 days.

## Procedure

1. Read the fiche and the recent journal. — tools: `get_client_memory`
2. Recheck each stale line with the person, then correct or remove it; merge lines that say the same thing. — tools: `remember`
3. Turn rules the gateway can check (campaigns not to touch, a budget-increase cap) into enforced rules. — tools: `remember`
4. Note the events of the period that explain performance, with their dates. — tools: `note_event`

## Decision rules

- **When** A target in the fiche disagrees with what the person says now → **conclude** Replace the line, dated; never keep two targets side by side.
- **When** The fiche is full → **conclude** Merge or drop before adding: a fiche that grows without limit stops being read.

## Evidence requirements

- Every line says one fact, in the person's words, with its date.
- Every enforced rule matches a sentence the person confirmed.

## Human approval boundary

- The person confirms every fact before it is saved; the whole team will rely on it.

## Failure modes

- Saving a guess as a fact: only what the person states, or what results prove, goes in the fiche.

## Output

- **Readout**: The figures, with windows and accounts named.
- **Flags**: What deserves a deeper skill or a human decision.
