# Google Chat > A separate Chat app using Gemini, for Workspace teams. Installation verified; the complete advertising workflow is still being validated. [Guides](https://www.getmcpads.com/guides) ## For you > **Warning** Pilot status: Gemini Enterprise sign-in, account discovery and a real Reddit campaign read passed on 28 September 2026. Tool selection still needs refinement. Advertising writes, refresh, revocation and the complete Google Chat workflow remain under validation. Gemini on gemini.google.com with a Workspace account does not currently support this custom MCP connection. For a conversation directly in Gemini, use Gemini Enterprise on Google Cloud. Google Chat is a separate option. ## Capabilities and boundaries - Reports, campaign management, saved reviews, alerts and Sheets exports use the same authorized Get MCP Ads tools. Availability still depends on plan, account selection, workspace permissions and provider support. - Native alerts and export schedules run on Get MCP Ads after the chat closes. - Embedded Claude/ChatGPT MCP Apps are not verified in Google. Use conversational summaries and the dashboard for visual media selection, account setup and uploads. - Keep each client workspace explicit. Review the exact account, campaign, budget, settings and revision before approving a change. A timeout is not permission to repeat an uncertain write. A dedicated Get MCP Ads app in Google Chat uses Gemini through Vertex AI. It is separate from the Gemini web application. Cloud hosting/model usage and an administrator-approved Chat app are required. 1. Enroll your Workspace domain in the private pilot. An administrator deploys and configures the Chat app before users can install it. Public Marketplace distribution is not available yet. 2. Open a direct message with Get MCP Ads in Google Chat and send /connect. Group spaces are deliberately unsupported. 3. Follow the authorization link and sign in to Get MCP Ads with the same verified email as Google Chat. Select the workspaces and accounts this collaborator may access. 4. Ask for a report. Before every non-read-only operation, review the displayed exact tool and arguments and click Confirm or Cancel. A textual yes does not bypass this control. 5. Send /disconnect to remove the Chat connection and conversation memory. Revoke its OAuth grant in the Get MCP Ads dashboard as well when retiring access. An action already in flight may finish. The pilot keeps conversation history for up to seven days, with a scheduled cleanup. Each message has a bounded tool loop; 60 accepted messages per user per hour limits runaway model usage. Get MCP Ads quotas also apply.
