# meta_create_lead_form

> Create an instant form (lead form) on a Page the selected ad account promotes, with a Page token from the connected user.

Create an instant form (lead form) on a Page the selected ad account promotes, with a Page token from the connected user. The Page must have accepted the Lead Ads terms. Forms cannot be edited; leads are never read. Use the returned ID as call_to_action.value.lead_gen_form_id. Local preview by default. No automatic retry. Account ownership is checked before Meta validation or mutation.

> **Warning** This tool changes the account. It is absent from the tool list on the Free plan, and it previews by default: without `confirm: true` it describes the change and applies nothing.

## Parameters

| `adAccountId` | string | Required | Selected owning ad account ID, with or without act_. Every referenced ad object must belong to it. |
| `pageId` | string | Required | Numeric ID of the Facebook Page that owns this object. The selected ad account must be able to promote it. |
| `name` | string | Required | Exact business name to give this object. Do not derive it from an uploaded filename. |
| `questions` | array | Required | questions. |
| `privacyPolicy` | object | Required | The advertiser privacy policy shown in the form (required by Meta). |
| `locale` | string | Optional | Form language, e.g. FR_FR. |
| `followUpActionUrl` | string | Optional | Website opened after submission. |
| `thankYouPage` | object | Optional | thankYouPage. |
| `contextCard` | object | Optional | Optional intro screen. |
| `isOptimizedForQuality` | boolean | Optional | Adds a review step for higher-intent leads. |
| `blockDisplayForNonTargetedViewer` | boolean | Optional | True keeps the form out of organic sharing. |
| `confirm` | boolean | Optional | Apply only when true. Default is a local preview with no API mutation. |
| `validateOnly` | boolean | Optional | Ask Meta to validate, without creating or changing an object. Mutually exclusive with confirm. |
