# amazon_ads_create_ad_group

Create a PAUSED Sponsored Products ad group with a default bid in profile currency. Checks the selected parent campaign. Preview and confirm before creating; requires a paid plan.

> **Note** Connect Amazon and explicitly select the profiles your assistant may access. Tested with an Amazon test account. Product, brand and format eligibility are enforced by Amazon; DSP and AMC are separate products.

> **Warning** This tool changes the account. It is absent from the tool list on the Free plan, and it previews by default: without `confirm: true` it describes the change and applies nothing.

## Parameters

| `accountId` | string | Required | Exact selected account ID from list_accounts, including region, for example EU:123456. Regions cannot be interchanged. |
| `campaignId` | string | Required | Exact campaign ID in the selected advertising account. |
| `name` | string | Required | Human-readable name for this object. |
| `defaultBid` | number | Required | Positive budget or bid in the selected profile currency, not micros. Amazon enforces marketplace-specific limits. |
| `confirm` | boolean | Optional | False previews only. True applies the exact preview explicitly approved by the user. Default: `false`. |
| `previewToken` | string | Optional | Token from this exact preview. Confirm only the change approved by the user; expires in ten minutes. |
