# adjust_compare_periods

> Compare two equal-length periods for one selected Adjust application with identical metrics, filters, OS and measurement settings.

[Documentation](https://www.getmcpads.com/docs) / [Sources](https://www.getmcpads.com/docs/sources) / [Adjust](https://www.getmcpads.com/docs/sources/adjust)

Compare two equal-length periods for one selected Adjust application with identical metrics, filters, OS and measurement settings. Defaults to the immediately preceding period. Changes use native totals, never sums of breakdowns. Unavailable or partial values have no calculated change; cohort maturity and reporting delays still apply.

> **Note** Connect with your Adjust reporting API token and choose the applications your assistant may read. Adjust user permissions apply.

## Parameters

| Name | Type | Required | Notes |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `appToken` | string | Required | Exact selected Adjust application token. Applications are separate from advertising accounts. |
| `startDate` | string | Required | First date of the reporting period, in YYYY-MM-DD format. |
| `endDate` | string | Required | Last date of the reporting period, in YYYY-MM-DD format, on or after startDate. |
| `dimensions` | array | Optional | Native reporting dimensions. Validate compatibility with the selected metrics. Default: `["os_name","day","network","campaign_id_network","campaign_network"]`. |
| `metrics` | array | Optional | Native or documented calculated metric names to request. Check compatibility with the selected dimensions. Default: `["installs","clicks","impressions"]`. |
| `currency` | string | Optional | Explicit ISO currency for money metrics. Keep the same currency across comparisons. |
| `utcOffset` | string | Optional | Fixed UTC offset; +00:00 by default. Split local-date comparisons if the offset changes during the period. Default: `"+00:00"`. |
| `attributionSource` | string | Optional | Assign activity to the first install source or the native dynamic reattribution source. One of: `first`, `dynamic`. Default: `"dynamic"`. |
| `attributionTypes` | array | Optional | Optional engagement filter. Omit for an unfiltered report including native organic data. Empty types in output means no engagement filter. |
| `reattributed` | string | Optional | Include all users, reattributed users only, or users without reattribution. One of: `all`, `true`, `false`. Default: `"all"`. |
| `adSpendMode` | string | Optional | Native source of ad spend. Keep the same mode across comparisons and avoid counting overlapping spend twice. One of: `adjust`, `network`, `mixed`. Default: `"network"`. |
| `cohortMaturity` | string | Optional | Include current cohort values or use mature-only mode, which may zero immature cohorts. One of: `mature`, `immature`. Default: `"immature"`. |
| `osNames` | array | Optional | Operating system filter, for example ios or android. Keep os_name in dimensions to compare platforms. |
| `iapRevenueMode` | string | Optional | In-app revenue percentage. Retain the same setting across comparisons. One of: `GROSS_100`, `GROSS_85`, `GROSS_70`, `GROSS_60`. Default: `"GROSS_100"`. |
| `filters` | array | Optional | Filters combined according to this tool's query schema. Use provider field names and the declared operators. |
| `limit` | integer | Optional | Display row limit only; truncation is explicit and native totals are preserved. Default: `1000`. |
| `comparison` | object | Optional | Optional equal-length comparison period; otherwise use the immediately preceding period. |
